Support and recovery FAQ
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Launch-hardening guidance for recovering from auth/session problems, keeping exports private, and using chat-assisted intake safely.
What should I do if sign-in, workspace selection, or a page load fails?
Use Clear session and sign in again from the recovery screen or footer navigation, then complete the Hosted Usable sign-in flow and select the intended workspace. This only clears the local encrypted app session; it does not delete Usable workspace records, files, reports, or chat drafts.
How private are reports and exports?
Register data is private by default inside the active Usable workspace. Exports contain private company and share data, linked evidence summaries, open questions, and report checksums, so download and share them only with intended recipients such as your accountant or auditor.
What if document upload, report export, or download artifacts fail?
Retry the action after confirming the active workspace and network connection. If an export still fails, regenerate the report snapshot from the saved register records instead of editing a downloaded artifact by hand. Do not paste presigned file URLs, OAuth tokens, embed keys, or raw private documents into support notes.
Can chat proposals change the official register?
Chat proposals are drafts until reviewed. The embedded expert or imported proposal can prepare suggested companies, transactions, loans, document links, evidence citations, and uncertain fields, but official holdings and accountant reports only change after review-gated product workflows save confirmed records.
Is this accounting or tax advice?
No. Private Shares Register is a record-keeping and export tool, not legal, tax, audit, accounting, investment, or valuation advice. Review the records, evidence, and reports with qualified advisors before relying on them.
